Arts and cultural resilience asset mapping

Arts & Cultural Resilience Asset (ACRA) Mapping is a participatory approach that identifies and documents the physical infrastructure, capacities, and knowledge within local arts, culture, and event sectors. By engaging stakeholders from the arts community, emergency management, and government, ACRA Mapping fosters cross-sector collaboration to enhance community resilience. The process results in co-created, accessible maps that highlight resources such as event equipment, trained personnel, and significant cultural sites, which can be mobilized during emergencies. This methodology not only strengthens disaster preparedness but also reinforces the role of cultural assets in community well-being.
