Our Services

Majestic Collaborations helps communities harness the power of arts, culture, and events to strengthen resilience. We work with municipalities, event producers, emergency managers, and cultural organizations to turn creative workers and venues into assets for emergency preparedness, disaster response, and equitable community well-being.

Resilience hub assessments

We help arts, culture, and event (ACE) venues and public spaces become resilience hubs—multi-use community spaces that can provide critical services during disruptions. Through planning, assessment, and strategy support, we evaluate sites and can assist with improvements that enhance day-to-day use while preparing venues to serve in times of crisis. Whether at the early planning stage or incorporated into infrastructure upgrades, our work is grounded in the idea that these spaces play a vital role on both blue sky days and during emergencies—and with intentional design, a single investment can support both service models.

The Art of Mass Gatherings

The Art of Mass Gatherings is a hands-on training and planning program that uses festivals as living classrooms to build community resilience. By bringing together event producers, cultural workers, and emergency professionals, the program strengthens safety, sustainability, accessibility, and community engagement at large gatherings. Festivals become strategic spaces to test emergency plans, train a cross-sector workforce, and prepare public venues to better serve both on blue sky days and during times of crisis.

Asset mapping

Arts and Cultural Resilience Asset (ACRA) Mapping is a participatory process that helps communities identify and leverage their arts, culture, and event-related resources to strengthen resilience in the face of disaster. As a process, they’re a strategic and engaging way to build alignment and coordination across local arts, culture, and event (ACE) workers with emergency professionals and community stakeholders. The resulting maps can highlight key infrastructure, skills, and knowledge that can support emergency response and recovery, as well as support the identification and mitigation of known vulnerabilities. We can directly facilitate asset mapping processes or provide online training and materials to local professionals so they can lead the process themselves.
